Daniel Shin, MD is the co-founder and a managing partner of Cereus Real Estate. His primary roles are asset acquisition, investor relations, and company vision.
Daniel is also a urologic surgeon based in Memphis, TN. After starting his career in urology, he started to write about his journey to financial independence at The Darwinian Doctor. On the blog, he recorded his experience growing a personal portfolio of multifamily real estate across five states worth over $9 million.
As his portfolio grew, Daniel saw first hand the ability of multifamily real estate to bring financial empowerment through cash flow, wealth growth, and tax efficiency. In the communities where he invested, he also saw the transformative power of real estate to improve cities and our nation.

Jordan Frey, MD

Jordan Frey, MD is the co-founder and a managing partner of Cereus Real Estate. His primary roles are investor relations and asset management, as well as managing the growth and vision of the company.
Jordan is also a plastic surgeon in Buffalo, NY. His clinical focus is on breast reconstruction and complex microsurgery. Further, he is the founder of The Prudent Plastic Surgeon, one of the fastest growing finance blogs. There, he shares his journey to financial well-being with a goal of helping all physicians reach financial freedom, practicing on their own terms.
